Description of activity
Class 1: Once the project in Ethics and Religious Culture class has been completed, students review the definition of the theme of Territories and Identities. They watch the videos found on the EducArt platform in connection with the theme in question. Once the goals and guidelines of the Science and Technology project have been presented, students review the various types of rocks, including igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary.
Class 2: During a group outing, students explore the Charlevoix astrobleme. They take several pictures of the astrobleme and of the different types of rocks found around it for the Visual Arts project.
Class 3: Students draw an aerial map of the astrobleme. They carefully study the position of the various types of rocks photographed. They incorporate the patterns of igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks in their drawing of the map.
