Description of activity
Class 1: Once the project and the EducArt platform have been presented, students revisit the theme of Communication, as a group. They study the text related to the theme found on the platform. They complete a heuristic diagram on the theme. Students watch the videos featuring de Jasmin Roy, Véronique Leduc and Mathieu Dugal. They review the video content.
Class 2: Students share an appreciation of works related to the theme of Communication, found on the EducArt platform. They determine and record their individual learning objectives in an evaluation grid, and then determine the type of work they would like to create for this project (2D or 3D image). They keep the documentation completed at this stage.
Class 3: Students select one of the works found on the EducArt platform and share a more detailed appreciation, taking guidance from a set of questions to which they formulate written responses. They keep the documentation completed at this stage.
Class 4: Students make a sketch based on the selected work and produce some rough work. They keep the sketch.
Classes 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9: Students take part in a creative session. They work on their projects. They review their creative process and the theme of Communication, taking guidance from a set of questions to which they must again formulate written responses. They complete a self-evaluation using the evaluation grid from the first class, and design a creative journal to illustrate, step by step, the creative process they employed to complete their project.
